SOUND SYSTEMS

The quality of sound reproduction is even more important than the music that’s played. Why? Because even the best song can sound terrible on cheap equipment. Even when the sound seems o.k.,  there are subtle factors that will affect the energy and mood of the party. Clean, clear sound is energizing, while “muddy” sound, even if barely noticeable, makes people tired. Our system can deliver full sound at low, middle or high volumes without distortion. Careful speaker placement and equalization ensure that occupants at every table can converse comfortably. And when it’s time for thumping dance music, we have 1000 watts to pump it out.

All of our equipment is high quality and professional:  

JBL main speakers (10 and 15 inch); PAS sub-woofers (18 inch); heavy-duty speaker cables; speaker stands; Numark controller and CD trays; dbx dual channel, 15 band graphic EQ. A Studiomaster Fusion mixing board allows us to patch in a wide variety of sound sources and includes three mic channels for announcements, vocalists or instrumental performances.

For house parties and smaller venues, or as a second system at weddings and large parties, we'll be using our Numark CDMix-1 with 10 inch JBL speakers and a JBL sub-woofer.

We offer small room to large hall and outdoor configurations, and can set up a main system with extension speakers or an auxiliary system in another area. We bring an array of microphones, including a handheld wireless mic to facilitate toasts and announcements. Additional microphones can be provided if needed. We also carry a complete backup system - just in case.

It’s Your Party! uses CD’s for full frequency sound reproduction rather than MP3s, which are compressed files. With full bass, crystal clear mids and sparkling highs, your favorite tunes will sound better than ever, as close as possible to live. So grab a tambourine and join the conga line, because: It’s Your Party!
